On the day Telangana state completed 2 months after emerging out as the 29th state of India, for the first time the President of India Pranab Mukherjee has visited the state on August 2, 2014. Obeisance with the protocol norms, both Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Chandrababu Naidu and KCR had arrived at Begumpet Airport to welcome the president.

When the duo happened to meet at Begumpet airport in Hyderabad, shattering the entire guessing into pieces, both Chandrababu Naidu and KCR have come together to greet each other. Surely, it was a moment that all Telugus ever want to see. The entire episode went well with both the CMs sharing happy moments.

Now the million dollar question that poses in every mind is if there will be any positive impact of this entire episode on such burning issues between the states such as the nativity issue to reimburse the fees of the students being considered by Telangana.

Coincidentally, on Saturday itself Telangana passed a G.O. establishing the Telangana State Higher Education Council indicates the break up with Andhra Pradesh in joint academic activities.

Surely, these two incidents are mutually contradictory and becomes a sticky situation for the general public whether what has been happening was for their betterment or not.

What was seen in Begumpet between the two Chief Ministers is a normal protocol culture that every top brass politician should adopt when they meet with their counterparts. It exists between the states, countries and for that matter at all levels. Such happenings should not be tied up with other issues between the states.

But the good thing is that keeping everything aside the two chief ministers have boosted up the morale of the Telugus, for sure!!
