Hyderabad: Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is very keen for the development of film industry in the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh. As soon as KCR has announced that development of a Film City in an area of 2000 acres of land in Telangana, Chandrababu Naidu came out with his decision of development of film industry in the residuary state.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the state government will support the development of film industry in all possible ways. He said that Visakhapatnam would be turned into the hub of the film industry, by developing the city and turning it suitable for the same. The Chief Minister was called on by many reps of Film Federation of India, South Indian Movie Federation, apart from many producers of Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada film industries.

In this milieu, Chandrababu Naidu said that Visakhapatnam, which is the prime location in Andhra Pradesh for beautiful and natural sceneries, would be turned into the most beautiful city so as to make it the city of film industry in the state. Further, Naidu said that by developing Araku Valley, a better pace than Ooty could be developed in the state. He promised the reps from the film industry who called on him that regulations will be brought into force sooner so that the film industry could receive much more benefits from the state.
