Kadapa: Five persons of a family, who had been missing for the last one and half years, were found buried on Tuesday on the premises of Zion English Medium High School here.
Krupakar Isaac, his wife Mounika and children
The police exhumed the skeletons in the presence of the Revenue authorities. The bodies were identified as those of school correspondent Krupakar Isaac, his wife K Mounika and their three children Angel, Pavitra and Rajaratnam.

SP Naveen Gulati told the media that Krupakar Isaac had murdered his wife Mounika, suspecting her fidelity in February last year. Later, he had killed his three children, too, in April last years. He buried the bodies of his wife and the children on the premises of the school. Krupakar, too, had committed suicide, the SP said. He, however, said, the police had arrested the principal accused Ramanjaneya Reddy, for aiding Krupakar in killing his wife and the children. But there was no clarity in the police statement as to who had buried the body of Krupakar, who, the SP said, had committed suicide. Two more suspects are yet to be traced, the SP said.

Buzz in the town is that all the five persons were murdered and buried. The police had failed to investigate the case properly even though Mounika’s mother Sujatha had lodged a complaint with the police. The police had reportedly acted belatedly only on the instruction of the Director General of Police.

Contrary to rumours doing rounds in the city, the SP said that Rajaratnam Isaac, who is the father of Krupakar, had nothing to do with the murders. However, Rajaratnam is still reportedly not seen in the town. The police also dismissed the stories of conspiracy being hatched by some other persons to murder Krupakar and appropriate his property.
