Vizag fears another Hudhud in Ashobaa

After reports that another supercyclone named Ashobaa may strike Andhra Pradesh, Vizagiites are fearing the worst nightmare. They are yet to recover from the aftermath of Hudhud devastation and now they hear of another super cyclone brewing in the Bay of Bengal.

Cyclone Warning Centre officials said the system would concentrate into a depression during next 24 hours and cross the north Andhra coast between Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam on November 12 as a super cyclone, exactly a month after the Hudhud crossed the Visakhapatnam coast.

If Ashobaa makes a landfall in the city like Hudhud, it would be devastating. What all the work we have done on a war footing, would be demolished again, said an official.
