Former Congress MLA Malladi Vishnu on Wednesday flayed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for not allocating any special funds for the development of Vijayawada.
Vijayawada: Former Congress MLA Malladi Vishnu on Wednesday flayed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for not allocating any special funds for the development of Vijayawada. Addressing media persons here, he accused the Chief Minister of hoodwinking the people of city by shifting the proposed capital to Thulluru in Guntur district contrary to his earlier announcement that the city would be developed as the capital of the residual Andhra Pradesh. The Telugu Desam chief who made tall promises during his election campaign, had failed to come up with any new welfare schemes during his six month rule. Instead, the TDP Government was continuing the welfare schemes of the previous Congress regime by changing their names for political mileage, he said.
