Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has trapped an officer of a state-run power utility in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs 50,000.
An ACB release on Wednesday stated that assistant Divisional Engineer, D Adinarayana who works at Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh (APEDCL) was caught by ACB while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a person doing an official favour. The further investigation is in process.
