Ramakrishna AP CPI State Secretary. Former MLA K Ramakrishna, in-charge secretary of Andhra Pradesh State CPI, was elected unanimously as secretary of the party at the three-day conclave.
Hyderabad: Former MLA K Ramakrishna, in-charge secretary of Andhra Pradesh State CPI, was elected unanimously as secretary of the party at the three-day conclave.
The 25th State CPI Conference elected him as secretary for the first time post AP bifurcation. The new executive will last three years and the meeting elected a State council with 96 members and state committee with 29 members. A 10-member Secretariat will have nine other members, including M Nageswar Rao and J V Satyanaraya Murthy as deputies, while others are P J Chandrasekhar Rao, Jalli Wilson, Ravula Venkaiah, Obulesu, Harnath Reddy and E Nageswar Rao.
