AP to get more Rs. 10, 000 Crore from Centre By the last week of March, Andhra Pradesh will be allotted more than Rs. 10, 000 Crore from the Centre said the Union Minister for Science and Technology Sujana Choudary.

As per Mr. Choudary, the Central Government that released Rs 500 Crore already towards deficit will be releasing Rs 7500 Crore to meet the deficit this year.
Along with the deficit, Centre will also release Rs.350 Cr for Polavaram Project, Rs.280 Cr towards Hudhud cyclone relief, Rs.750 Cr towards CST compensation, Rs.1900 Cr due under the 13th Finance Commission and Rs.2000 Cr for Capital city construction.
He added that Andhra Pradesh state bifurcation has resulted in a loss of Rs 12,000 Crore for the state while an equal amount of benefit was witnessed for Telangana. Clearing the air over the TDP-BJP alliance, the Union Minister said that TDP & BJP will work jointly for AP development in future also.
