AP assembly in Kerala footsteps Since the budget session began, YSR Congress took off by targeting the Chief Minister and the ruling party hit back focusing on Jagan and his Quid Pro Quo (QPQ) cases. This mutual mock fighting (or drama) has been continuing for last one week along with media support.

What has happened on Wednesday in the AP assembly resembles the happenings in Bihar and Kerala Assemblies in the recent past.

The track record of assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh has gone down from bad to worse. Instead of discussing the issues of public concern, the sessions have mirrored only the personal politics of the leaders with abundant accusations and mudslinging.

Since the budget session began, YSR Congress took off by targeting the Chief Minister and the ruling party hit back focusing on Jagan and his Quid Pro Quo (QPQ) cases. This mutual mock fighting (or drama) has been continuing for last one week along with media support.

On Wednesday, when YS Jagan asked the TDP members to learn English from him, a ruling party member had retorted, "We don't need to learn lessons from a thief who stole the question papers at school and has been robbing the state since then. In the past even your mother had appealed that you should not be allowed to enter AP politics. How can one coming from a criminal background and dictate terms to us? "

Another TDP leader Acchan Naidu went one step further asking Jagan to stop dreaming about coming to power. "Your sins will chase you and you will never ever reach heights in politics. Your dream of becoming a CM will never become a reality".

TDP chief and CM Chandrababu Naidu had in fact lost his cool and showered comments on Jagan which he otherwise normally would not have chosen to; saying that all the corrupted leaders including the opposition leader will be put behind the bars very soon and his (Jagan) cheap tricks will not be spared. For record sake Jagan is just an accused and not been proved guilty.

Meanwhile, YSRCP members Roja and Srikanth Reddy have also made several wild allegations on the ruling party and invariably LOP (leader of Opposition) Jagan took personal jibes at Chandrababu almost on a daily basis.

AP house on Wednesday virtually was stalled due to the verbal duels from both sides. The one that garnered more limelight was between TDP's Bonda Uma and YSR CP's Kodali Nani. "Jagan has spent 16 months in jail and he wants to repeat the same criminal behavior in this house. He is a son of corrupted person and he's not even eligible to enter assembly. I want the speaker to take action on Iron-Leg Roja aunty and a criminal like Kodali Nani," said Uma.

When interrupted by Nani, Bonda Uma went to the extent of using some derogatory words like "Yentraa Naayala, I will bury you here itself" and more. The din and dust in the floors of the Assembly old building now given to AP could possible cause more damage to the 100 year old building, a heritage structure.

YSR Congress Party had given an privilege motion notice to Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasad Rao on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu alleging that CM insulted YSR Congress MLAs on the floor of the house. The notice was handed over to Assembly Secretary, Satyanarayana.

Earlier, TDP also gave a similar notice on YSRCP Nagari MLA Roja for allegedly posing pictures with outsiders in Assembly on Tuesday which is against the rules of the house. The Speaker will take up both the motions and announce his decision on Thursday.
