Hyderabad: The Met office has forecast isolated rain or thundershowers in north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on March 25, 26 and 27. On Sunday the maximum temperature rose at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh. It was appreciably above normal at many places in coastal AP and above normal at one or two places in Telangana. Kurnool recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41 degree Celsius in the region.
The minimum temperature rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema, rose at a few places in south coastal A P, rest of Rayalaseema. It was appreciably below normal at one or two places in north coastal AP, below normal at one or two places in Telangana and above normal at one or two places in south coastal AP. The maximum temperatures recorded in Andhra Pradesh were: Bapatla 36, Kakinada 36, Kalingapatnam 35, Kavali 37, Machilipatnam 36, Nandigama 40, Narsapur 36, Nellore 39, Ongole 36, Jangamaheswarapuram 37, Tuni 37, Vijayawada 39, Visakhapatnam AP 35, Anantapur 39, Arogyavaram 37, Kadapa 39, Kurnool 41, Nandyal 40 and Tirupati 39.
In Telangana the maximum temperatures rose at one or two places. They were above normal at a few places in the State. The highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bhadrachalam, Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar. The minimum temperatures rose at one or two places in the State. They were below normal at one or two places over the State. The lowest minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad. The maximum temperatures recorded in Telangana were: Adilabad 38, Bhadrachalam 40, Hakimpet 37, Hanmakonda 39, Hyderabad 37, Medak 38, Nalgonda 39, Nizamabad 40, Ramagundam 39.
