Global Hospitals Offers Free Medicare To Tirumala Walkers. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTDs) plans to provide enhanced medical services free of cost to the pilgrims who come walking by the footpath route in collaboration with the popular Global Hospitals Group (GHG).

TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao along with Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju held a high level meeting with the GHG Chairman Dr Ravindranath at the Gokulam Guest House on Sunday and reviewed on the proposals.
TTD Chief Engineer Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy,Chief Medical Officer Dr N Vikas and representatives of GHG also attended the meeting where medical services to the foot walkers were discussed.
Nearly 20,000 and more devotees including women and aged persons come by walk to Tirumala hilltop every day and the TTD has set up emergency dispensary at Gali Gopuram and also at the Anjaneya statue for providing first aid and other immediate medicare including dehydration treatment in view of severe heat during the summer months.
