From June 2, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is all set to begin carrying out the function of his office from his Vijayawada camp office and the foundation of the new capital was decided to be laid on June 6 at the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

Chandrababu Naidu is all set to begin carrying out the function of his office from his Vijayawada camp office and the foundation of the new capital was decided to be laid on June 6 at the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday.


The state government will be conducting Nava Nirmana Deeksha on June 2 and a huge public meeting will be organized on June 8. The construction of the new capital will begin from Dusshera.


The Cabinet meeting headed by finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu along with Ministers K. Atchennaidu and Prattipati Pulla Rao will be looking into the available buildings of tourism, private and others at Vijayawada to shift the departments.
