10 children injured in stray dogs’ attack

About 10 children were severely injured when a pack of street dogs attacked them in Atmakur on Thursday. Seven of the injured were shifted to government hospital while the remaining children were admitted in private hospital for better treatment. Condition of Mahaboob Basha and Sivatejaswini was said to be critical with severe injuries as the dogs attacked on their stomach, legs and on chest.

Local people criticized the municipal authorities for not responding to their repeated written complaints about the menace of street dogs.
