Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has returned from Rajahmundry after 12-day pushkaralu, is now focusing attention on streamlining party affairs in the two Telugu states.

According to party sources, Naidu, who held consultations with senior leaders at his residence on Sunday evening, is said to be of the opinion to have two sub-committees to manage party affairs in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Nara Lokesh is likely to be given the responsibility of coordinator for these two committees.

At the last Mahanadu, the TDP had constituted a central committee headed by Chandrababu Naidu. This committee is the highest decision-making body. Sources said that Lokesh is likely to spend about three days in a week in Guntur and would manage the affairs of the party.

Efforts are on to set up the AP headquarters of TDP at Guntur. The district office located in Guntur is being readied to house the AP State party office. The name of AP TDP president will be announced soon. In all probability, K Kalavenkat Rao is likely to be the new APTDP president. However, in Telangana, contrary to recent speculations, it is said that there is no move to replace L Ramana.
