Addressing a press conference at the Party office, Party MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy demanded the AP Government's stand on the issue in the wake of the letter Central Government has written to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy which clearly states that the issue does not arise.
The YSRCP MP said that the department of industrial policy and development replied that the package was already included and the State does not fulfill the criteria for getting special status.
The Central Government replied to the letter written by the YSRCP chief to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the special status, he added. "This clearly shows that there is no special package for the state and the industrial incentives cannot come into the State. This is time to fight for the rights," he added.
