YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has begun the Deeksha for AP Special Status on Wednesday in Guntur's Nallapadu Road amidst a rousing welcome by party leaders and activists.
Jagan began his fast after paying homage to his father, YS Rajasekhar Reddy by garlanding his statue. YS Jagan who is going on indefinite hunger strike visited Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada, performed special prayers and sought the blessings ahead of the Deeksha.
Jagan was received with grand galore in Vijayawada and thousands arrived at the Nalapadu to support Jagan for his Deeksha.
