YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy took to Twitter on Friday slamming Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for not exerting pressure on the BJP led NDA government at Centre for Special Status for AP.
YS Jagan also criticized Chandrababu for not responding on the comments made by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the Special Status issue. The Union Minister had stated that the era of according Special Status to states is over.
While the comments were made when quizzed on the Special Status for Bihar, speculation in the political circles is that it was also meant for AP. The YSRCP Chief questioned Chandrababu as to why he was not taking any step forward for the AP Special Status particularly when Jaitley is making such comments.
Inspite of YSRCP MPs getting a written clarification in Parliament that specialstatus will continue for NE States & @arunjaitley indicating-
