Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan has sought an appointment to meet AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday to discuss the issue of land acquisition in Thullur, Mangalagiri and other villages.
Earlier, the farmers who are not willing to part with their lands reached out to Pawan Kalyan over the issue. Farmers from Tadepalli and Mangalagiri mandals have approached the courts, the latest to join the movement against land acquisition are the farmers from Thullur village.
Pawan Kalyan had come forward on the issue when AP government warned it will issue land acquisition notices following which the government had stepped back. Now, once again the government is gearing to issue notification for land acquisition and the farmers are hoping that Pawan Kalyan would once again come to their rescue.
