ONGC women forum goes on geological tour

ONGC’s Women Development Forum (WDF) Rajahmundry unit has undertaken one-day geological tour in K-G Basin. The tour was flagged off by Debashish Sanyal, ED-Asset Manager, Rajahmundry in the presence of senior officers of ONGC on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Sanyal said that geological studies were the bedrock of oil industry. He exhorted the women executives to learn as much as possible from tour.

The tour was flagged off by Debashish Sanyal, ED-Asset Manager, Rajahmundry in the presence of senior officers of ONGC on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Sanyal said that geological studies were the bedrock of oil industry. He exhorted the women executives to learn as much as possible from tour. To refresh the understanding of the historical formation of the K-G Basin the tour was conceptualised by PR Bhavana, GM-Geology, for women executives of Rajahmundry. The tour covered rock sample collection from Duddukuru, Gopalapuram, Jangareddygudem and Dwaraka Tirumala. Around 30 women executives led by Anita Majumdar, DGM-Production participated in the tour.
