The Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Music and Dance College was filled with dance lovers on Sunday to witness the second day of the Amaravathi dance festival. The highlight of the second day were Kuchipudi, Manipuri and Kathak.

The Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Music and Dance College was filled with dance lovers on Sunday to witness the second day of the Amaravathi dance festival. The highlight of the second day were Kuchipudi, Manipuri and Kathak.
Battina sisters Tejasri and Bhagyasri presented an impressive Kuchipudi dance items “Brahamjali”, “Marakata Mani maya chela” and “Thillana” while Singh and troupe presented an item describing the importance of Siva Panchakshari in Manipuri dance style.
The dance festival was concluded with Anurekha Ghose Kathak presentation. Anurekha showcased a beautiful item “Sukhma Sristi” with her troupe. This was well received by the audience including critics. The Sivatandavam also enthralled the audience with a gripping show. Post the performances, the artistes were felicitated by the organisers Vikram Goud, Narasimha and Srinivas.
