Judicial remand to Chintu, 14 others extended

Chittoor: The judicial remand of Chintu, the main accused in the Chittoor Mayor K Anuradha and her husband K Mohan murder case, has been extended up to January 13 along with other 14 accused. Chintu and other accused were brought from Kadapa Central Jail on Monday and presented them before the designated court.

The Magistrate Yugandhar issued orders extending his judicial remand up to January 13. Heavy security arrangements were made in and around the court premises in order to avert untoward incidents as the supporters of the slain Mayor couple were present in large numbers. Chittoor Urban CI Niranjan Kumar and other police personnel were present.
