Addressing a media conference here on Wednesday, KVV Satyanarayana Raju, chairman of Chaitanya Educational Institutions, said that they were conducting the festival successfully for the 10th year. All these years, students from different colleges under JNTU-K and other universities were taking part in this mega event. He announced that Rs 2 lakh worth prizes would be given to the winners in the three-day event. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister N Chinna Rajappa would inaugurate the even on Thursday.

Rajamahendravaram MP Muralimohan, MLA Pendurthi Venkatesh, MLC K Sasikiran Varma and JNTU-K Vice-Chancellor VSS Kumar would participate in inaugural meet, he added. GIET managing director K Sasikiran Varma and executive director K Lakshmi Varma said that on the first day, film director VV Vinayak would attend as chief guest for cultural feast. Playback singers Srikrishna, Malavika, Simha and Pravallika would present a musical night.

On second day, Rangoli for girl students and also for women from different parts of the district would be arranged. In the evening, ‘Nenu Sailaja’ film hero Ram and heroin Kerthi Suresh would attend as guests. The valedictory would be attended by film hero Sunil, Sai Dharam Teja, director Dil Raju, director of films ‘Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Subrahmanyam for Sale’ Hari Sankar and others. The audio release of ‘Krishnastami’ would be clubbed with the valedictory, they said.
