Naidu terms Hyderabad a lovely place, mum on KCR & TRS

Hyderabad: TDP has decided to go with the BJP even during the 2019 general elections in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Announcing this here on Tuesday at the TDP-BJP Sankharavam at Nizam College grounds, TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu in a strategic move desisted from making any adverse comment either against the TRS or its president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Parroting his pet two-eyed policy, Naidu extensively deliberated on his contribution in putting Hyderabad on the global map and how he was continuing his efforts in pleading with the Centre to extend equal help to the two Telugu-speaking States.

Naidu said even during the just-concluded Partnership Summit, he had urged Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to come to the rescue of Telangana state where several parts were reeling under acute drought conditions.

Stating that the process of bifurcation was done in a hurry and in an unscientific manner, Naidu said that it was now time for both States to cooperate with each other and move forward. He said because of the efforts made by the then TDP government in the undivided Andhra Pradesh and NDA government led by Atal Behari Vajpayee at the Centre,

Hyderabad could emerge as a major destination for investments. Now Hyderabad has good income and in future if serious efforts are made sky is the limit to develop it. “It is a lovely place,” he said. Calling upon the rank and file of TDP and BJP to sink their differences and not to worry even if some of the aspirants do not get tickets,

Naidu said both parties should take this election as a challenge and work hard. GHMC polls should be considered as the first litmus test for both the parties and this election should pave the way for TDP-BJP combine to come to power in 2019 in Telangana.

In his attempt to enthuse the party cadre, Naidu said they should not give any credence to the remarks made by opponents that he had left Hyderabad. As Chief Minister of a truncated state, he was striving to put it on track and was temporarily busy in reconstructing the state of Andhra Pradesh.

“I have not gone away from here and will always stand by the cadre. You are the lifeline of TDP and I will always be indebted to you all,” he said.Naidu further said that he was fully convinced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central ministers were committed to develop Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
