Lambasingi registers lowest temperature

Visakhapatnam: Lambasingi in the Agency, popularly known as Andhra Ooty, has recorded the lowest temperature of the season on Saturday with the mercury dipping to four degrees Celsius. Regular vehicular traffic has been affected due to the dense fog conditions and officials of Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Chintapalli, which officially records the temperature at Chintapalli, said that Chintapalli recorded the lowest minimum temperature of six degree Celsius on Saturday.

It was on January 15, 2012, that Lambasingi was said to have recorded zero degree Celsius, while Chintapalli recorded about two degrees Celsius.
