The Indian agriculturist practiced and has written many books about Zero Budget Spiritual Farming. The request of adoption of AP came through Agriculture Department Principal Secretary Vijay Kumar and Palekar contentedly accepted it.

The eight-day camp on natural farming will witness six thousand people of which five thousand farmers and a thousand agriculture department employees getting trained for the first time in India.

With the usage of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, millions of farmers experienced ruinous effects on soil fertility and on the rural economy, said Subhash Palekar but added that natural farming is the solution to the troubles being faced by the farming community and also the nation as it achieves higher yields with just ten percent usage of water, power resources.
