Kurnool: District Collector Ch Vijaymohan on Monday asked the officials to convey applicants seeking benefit under government schemes as part of Janmabhoomi, Meekosam and Dial Your Collector programmes—that they will derive benefit only after a policy decision by the State government.
Most of the representations pertain to ration cards, pensions, house sites and house allotments. As part of Dial Your Collector, it was complained that a woman, Kamalamma, managed to get anganwadi ayah post in Allagadda producing a fake certificate and at the cost of genuine applicants.
Similarly, they complained about distributing only 25 ration cards out of 100 sanctioned in Sakunala village of Orvakallu mandal. Another applicant sought compensation for alienating his land for a solar plant.
In Aspari mandal, it was complained that food was not being served as per menu at the welfare hostel. They complained against a former VRO who sold away government lands. Ramakrishnapuram residents in Pyapili mandal allege that the panchayat is dithering on giving work order for a sanctioned mineral water plant.
It was also complained that the officials are not executing a check dam under survey no. 70 in Ramallakota in Veldurti mandal citing technical reasons. Representations seeking allotment of land for a burial ground at Holebeedu has been sought.
