Free darshan for students at Durga temple on Feb 13

The Kanaka Durga temple officials have decided to offer free darshan for students on February 13 on the occasion of Sri Maha Saraswati Yagam. The temple authorities will distribute a pen, pocket-size photo of presiding deity, Rakshabandan and Laddu Prasadam to students free of cost.

Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, temple in-charge executive officer Sravanam Atchyutaramaiah said that separate queue would be arranged for students to avail free darshan facility from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
He said plying of four-wheelers would be banned on ghat road on February 13. The in-charge executive officer said the temple would organise Suryopasana from February 14 to March 6 as part of Magha Masam celebrations.
