Kurnool: The Fourth State Finance Commission headed by ML Kantha Rao will tour the district on February 26 and 27. According to official sources here, the Finance Commission comprising K Munirathnam Naidu, R Sudarshana Rao and G Sandhya Rani (members), C Venkateswara Rao (member secretary), C Sankara Reddy (Joint Secretary) and Md Taqiuddin (Chief Accounts Officer), will reach Kurnool on the night of February 25. On February 26, it will visit Nandyal municipal office and Gospadu Mandal Parishad office.
The commission will hold a review meeting with the Zilla Parishad Chairman, CEO, MPDOs, Panchayat Raj and RWS officials at the ZP meeting hall on February 27. It will also meet the District Panchayat Officer and DLPOs before leaving for Hyderabad, sources added.
