Tirupati: Condemning Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu remarks against Scheduled Castes (SCs), the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) activists led by its district president and MLA Narayanaswamy performed milk bath to the statute of Ambedkar here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Narayanaswamy sought an unconditional apology from the Chief Minister for his remarks made against people belonging to SCs at a meeting in Vijayawada. The YSRCP MLA also wanted a case to be booked against Chandrababu Naidu under SC, ST Atrocities Act. YSRCP State SC Cell secretary Rajendra and other leaders were also present.
