MPTC dies in wall collapse

MPTC Venkataramana (53) died on the spot when the compound wall of her house, which was in a dilapidated condition, fell on her in the house at Chintayapalem village of Karlapalem mandal in Guntur district on Sunday.
Amaravati: MPTC Venkataramana (53) died on the spot when the compound wall of her house, which was in a dilapidated condition, fell on her in the house at Chintayapalem village of Karlapalem mandal in Guntur district on Sunday.
According to police, Venkataramana was removing the stones from the wall in the house to construct a new house. While, she pulled a stone was from the wall, which was dilapidated condition, a bit of wall suddenly fell on her. She injured seriously and fell down. She died while being shifted to the local government hospital. She is survived by husband, two sons and two daughters. She was elected to mandal parishad on TDP ticket.
The police registered a case and took up investigation.
