Nirbhaya case booked against AP Minister Ravela Kishore Babu's son
AP Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu\'s son Ravela Susheel Kumar has been charged under section 41A of CrPC of Nirbhaya act by the Banjara Hills police on Saturday after he sexually abused a married woman in a drunken state on Thursday evening.
AP Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu's son Ravela Susheel Kumar has been charged under section 41A of CrPC of Nirbhaya act by the Banjara Hills police on Saturday after he sexually abused a married woman in a drunken state on Thursday evening.
The victim, a teacher, filed a police complaint where she stated that Susheel and his driver Appa Rao had misbehaved while she was returning from school. Earlier, the police registered a case only against the driver, however following the victim's relatives and media's outcry, they included Susheel's name in the FIR.
Police have served notices to Susheel’s residence in Minister's quarters asking him to appear for questioning, however, the culprit is absconding and the police teams are searching for him. DCP Venkateswarlu informed that no matter who the culprit is, they will be dealt with seriously.
