Collector directs officials to carry out survey

The Collector inspected the ongoing flyover works at Kanaka Durga temple ghat road to Kanaka Durga varadhi on Friday. He questioned the temple authorities over the delay in removing encroachments at Durga ghat. He asked the officials to speed up the flyover works in order to complete before Krishna Pushkaraalu.
The Collector directed the officials to demolish the buildings on Durga ghat to widen the road. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is keen on completing the flyover works before Krishna Pushkaraalu and asked the contractors to expedite the works.
When the Collector informed about the delay in necessary clearances, the additional director general of national highways said that necessary orders would be passed within two days. The Collector asked the officials to take up construction of retaining wall on the hKrishna River bank along with the flyover works.
