Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) State vice president Bhupathi Raju Srinivas Raju said that resolutions were passed by the Sangh to improve health care and provide education at an affordable price at the conclave which was conducted in Rajasthan from March 11 to 13.

Talking to the newsmen here on Friday, Srinivas Raju said that a three day conclave was formally inaugurated by Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundra Raje, while Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat participated in the valedictory session. He said that the conclave has held discussions and passed resolutions on education with suggestions for more budgetary allocation for education and greater community participation.

The RSS leader also said that number of branches where RSS volunteers gather daily in the neighborhood for morning exercises and ideological discourses in parks at present is 56,859. Last year at the same time this number was 51,335. The number of shakhas had increased to 10,413 between 2012 and 2015.

The conclave also passed resolution to adopt trousers as dress code over the traditional khaki knickers to attract more youngsters into the Sangh, he added.

RSS State media in-charge P V Ram Sai was present at the news conference.
