Hyderabad High Court which gave interim relief to YSRCP MLA Roja over her one-year suspension from AP assembly delivered it's final judgement on Tuesday. In a much-anticipated verdict over Roja's suspension case, a division bench of High Court heard an appeal filed by the AP legislative affairs department challenging the verdict of cancelling the Assembly resolution suspending YSRC MLA Roja from the assembly for a year.

The bench comprising acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale, Justice Naveen Rao and senior advocate of Supreme Court PP Rao said that the House has powers to suspend a member of the Assembly and the court cannot have Judicial review on any order passed by Legislature thus, dismissing the interim orders passed by the single bench holding its decision invalid.

However, the Assembly stated that they are willing to revoke the suspension if Roja apologizes for her 'inappropriate behaviour'. Now, Roja is planning to move the Supreme Court against the High Court decision.
