Nearly 3000 new APSRTC buses are being inducted in the state. APSRTC Manging director Sambasiva Rao met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in this regard on Wednesday and reportedly has received a go ahead from the Chief Minister to run the buses replacing the old ones.

Addressing to the media, Sambasiva Rao stated that the passengers will not face the burden for additional 3000 new buses. The state-owned Transportation system raked in profits in the Sankranthi season and as per the reports, RTC earned an average of 12 Crore income per day in the recent past. RTC even created a new record by earning 20.25 Crores on Monday making it the highest earning of the Corporation in a single day.
