Privileges panel summons Roja
Andhra Pradesh Assembly Privileges Committee on Saturday served notices on YSR Congress MLA Roja and summoned her to appear before the committee on April 6.The committee would seek clarifications on the alleged comments made by her against ruling party leaders and also Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during the winter session.

She been suspended from the house for a period of one year for making ‘derogatory ‘ comments against TDP leaders on December 22 last year. Recently, Roja announced her willingness to appear before the committee. After High Court revoked Roja’s suspension, privilege panel has taken up the issue and decided to take action against the YSR Congress MLA to protect the dignity and decorum of the Assembly.
