At Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham, China Mushidiwada near here, Peetham main priest Panthula Ramalinga Swami performed Panchanga Sravanam in the presence of Peethadhipathi Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi Maha Swami on Friday. 

Visakhapatnam: Durmukhi Nama Ugadi Samvatsara Panchanga Sravanam programmes to know the star fortunes, growth and prosperity in the Telugu New Year, were held in all major temples, Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham and at the BJP office. There was a heavy devotee rush in all temples in the city since morning on the occasion of Ugadi festival.
At Visakha Sri Sarada Peetham, China Mushidiwada near here, Peetham main priest Panthula Ramalinga Swami performed Panchanga Sravanam in the presence of Peethadhipathi Sri Swaroopanandendra Saraswathi Maha Swami on Friday.
The seer hoped that Durmukhi Nama Ugadi Samvatsaram would bring happiness, health and wealth to people and the new Telugu Year must begin with the tasting of special Ugadi Pachchadi as it has the combination of all tastes. A large number of devotees participated.
At another programme held by BJP city president M Nagendra, party leaders T Subbarami Reddy, S V S Prakash Reddy, Pulusu Janardhan Rao, J Prudhviraj, Malla Venkata Rao, Narendra Prakash, Buddha Lakshminarayana, Rajakumari, Kolli Ratna Kumari, city vice-president Gundu Raghubabu, N Durgaraju, U Appalakonda, V Dakshina Murthy, M Ravindra Reddy, Prem Kumari, Aadari Kishore, Varalakshmi and Nukaraju attended.
All the participants were served Ugadi Pachchadi and city president Nagendra wished all the people that Durmukhi Nama Ugadi Samvatsaram would
bring happiness and prosperity.
At the TDP urban district office, similar programme was conducted in the presence of party urban general secretary Chode Venkata Pattabhiram to which MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu attended.
The Panchanga Sravanam was rendered by Gandreddi Ganga Raju. Among others, P Srinivasa Rao, Sanapala Seetaramanjaneyulu, Annamareddi Vani, Baireddy Pothana Reddy, Malla Appalaraju, D Ramanand, B Ramireddy, P Nageswara Rao, B Bharati and Sujatha were also present.
