4 hurt as bikes collide

Two speeding motorcycles collided head-on in the mandal on Tuesday, leaving four persons injured. According to police, Pratap, Vinod and two others of Kulumala village came to the mandal headquarters on some work. On their way back home, their motorcycle collided with the bike of Siva, Surendra and Jayaram of Gonegandla who were returning from agricultural fields.
Gonegandla (Kurnool): Two speeding motorcycles collided head-on in the mandal on Tuesday, leaving four persons injured. According to police, Pratap, Vinod and two others of Kulumala village came to the mandal headquarters on some work. On their way back home, their motorcycle collided with the bike of Siva, Surendra and Jayaram of Gonegandla who were returning from agricultural fields.
Siva, Jayaram, Pratap and Vinod sustained severe injuries in the mishap. They were shifted to Gonegandla hospital. On hearing the news, villagers of Kulumala and Gonegandla and the kin of the injured thronged the hospital where both the groups were involved in a heated argument blaming each other for the mishap. A case was registered.
