Weaver commits suicide

Dharmavaram (Anantapur): A weaver by name Sankara Prasad(40) of Mahathma Gandhi colony in the town committed suicide by hanging himself with a saree to the roof pole at his house in the wee hours of Tuesday, reportedly due to pressure of debts.
The tragedy took place in the early hours of Tuesday when all family members were asleep. The deceased left behind a wife and three children. The family members say that there were debts to the tune of Rs 2 lakh which pressurised him to take the extreme step.
