Donations sought for laying of roads
Eluru: ZP chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju called upon people to donate liberally for laying of CC roads and construction of underground drainage system in rural areas. He inaugurated three CC roads along with MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao and MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao at 9,11and 12 wards in Sanivarapupeta village of Eluru rural mandal on Friday.
He said laying of CC roads and construction of underground drainage system were taken up at a cost of Rs 50 crore from the funds of Employment Assurance Scheme and Zilla Parishad. He was all praise for denizens of Sanivarapupeta for contributing their mite for laying of CC roads.
MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao lauded MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao for his development plans to ensure the development of rural areas. ZPTC member Matta Rajeswar, MPP Reddy Anuradha and village sarpanch Kurapati Lurthamma were also present.
