Guntur: BJP Guntur president Ammisetty Anjaneyulu and party leaders paid tributes to Alluri Sitarama Raju at Naz Centre in Guntur by garlanding his statue on his 92nd death anniversary. Speaking on the occasion, Anjaneyulu reminded how Alluri had fought against the British and asked the youth to draw inspiration from Alluri and strive for the development of country.
He said that Alluri Sitarama Raju continues to be a source of inspiration for generations for his selfless service and dedication for the uplift of the oppressed tribals.
BJP leaders Cheruvu Tirupati Rao, Panduranga Vithal, Palapati Ravi Kumar, Appisetty Ranga Rao, Srinivasa Reddy and Devara Subba Rao were present.
