YSR Congress party\'s Chief General Secretary Vijaysai Reddy met with a road mishap at the Outer Ring road near Rajendra Nagar limits on Tuesday while he was on his way to the Shamsabad airport. He was accompanied by party leaders Durga Prasad Raju and Dasarath.

The major accident took place after the car they were travelling hit the road divider, overturned twice before falling upside down precariously on the divider. The windshield of the car was completely smashed and the occupants, along with the driver were left with minor injuries.
They were immediately rushed to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills for medical treatment. The YSCRP leaders were on their way to take part in a protest for special status to Andhra Pradesh.
