BRAU gets `33.45 cr for development

Srikakulam: The State government has sanctioned Rs 33.45 crore funds to B R Ambedkar University in Srikakulam for development works.

University officials on Tuesday received an order from the Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council in this regard. According to BRAU Registrar Gunta Tulasi Rao, Rs 33.45 crore funds were released by the government for the development.

Academic building, administrative block, additional class rooms, examination building, hostels, law college building, cricket pitch, indoor stadium, running track, gym and education department building are proposed with the funds. Works will be started after getting approval from the government, Registrar said.
