According to police, the burglars broke open the entrance of the new building of Borra Subbarao and gained entry into the house.  They also broke open the cabinet and stole the cash and ornaments.

Eluru: Burglars entered into house of a rice trader and decamped with 4.2 lakh in cash and 23 sovereigns of gold ornaments at Attili village in West Godavari district on Wednesday.

According to police, the burglars broke open the entrance of the new building of Borra Subbarao and gained entry into the house.
They also broke open the cabinet and stole the cash and ornaments.

At that time, Borra Subba Rao and his wife Lakshmi were not in the house and sleeping in their old building. Subbarao’s sons slept on the terrace.

Subba Rao and his wife came to house in the morning. They found the doors and cabinet open. The clothes and other articles were also found scattered on the floor. Subbarao lodged a complaint with Attili police.

Tanuku Circle Inspector Ch Rambabu and Sub-Inspector Venkateswara Rao reached the spot and enquired about the incident.
The Clues team also plunged into action and collected the fingerprints. Attili police registered a case and are investigating.
