BJP wants clarity on shifting of employees
BJP State spokesperson Karnati Anjaneya Reddy demanded that the State government should provide clarity on shifting of the Secretariat employees to the new capital, Amaravati.
​Nellore: BJP State spokesperson Karnati Anjaneya Reddy demanded that the State government should provide clarity on shifting of the Secretariat employees to the new capital, Amaravati.
He alleged that the TDP government was making confusing statements on shifting the employees to Amaravati without providing basic facilities in the capital.
He said that though Andhra Pradesh government has a right to continue administration in Hyderabad, the government was shifting employees without providing basic amenities to them. Reddy also demanded that the State government should disclose its plan on facilities for employees.
He also questioned the State government why the construction of temporary Secretariat was being delayed. He asked Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to request the Central government to run special trains during weekends between Amaravati and Hyderabad for the convenience of the employees. Reddy said Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will attend a public meeting in Nellore on June 16.
