Kurnool: District Collector Ch Vijay Mohan directed the officials to conduct a household survey through smart pulse programme to add the socio economic data of individuals to Aadhaar database.

Since the Aadhaar database does not reflect the socio-economic data such as caste, community education, income and livelihood details of a citizen, the smart pulse survey is planned to fill in the gaps related to socio-economic details.

In this connection a training programme on the smart pulse survey was held at Sunaina Auditorium here on Thursday. Addressing the officials after the conclusion of the programme, the Collector said the first phase of survey will be conducted from June 20 to 30 and the second phase of survey will be conducted from July 6 to 31. He asked the officials to conduct the survey from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Collector said the information collected should be uploaded on the website. He asked the officials to work in coordination with mandal tahsildars MPDOs and RDOs.

He said a training programme would be held for enumerators and added that the officials of Revenue, Panchayati Raj, DRDA and municipality departments will take part in the programme.

The Collector said every team would be provided with an enumerator, a helper and a supervisor. He said that Chenchu Sadassus would be organised from July 14 and added that the Chenchus would be given ration cards and pattas for house sites. The Collector asked the officials to ensure that at least one person from each Chenchu family across 14 mandals attends the event.

Joint Collector Hari Kiran said a trainer would be coming from Hyderabad to rectify the errors in the survey.

DRO Gangadhar Goud DRDA Project Director Rama Krishna municipal commissioner Ravindra Bab DPO Swaroopa Rani RDOs Raghu Babu Sudhakar Reddy and Obulesu tahsildars and MPDOs were also present.
