IT Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy released the AP Lawcet results at JNTU here on Friday. The entrance examination was conducted on May 28 in 31 centres for the 3-year and 5-year LLB and LLM course for which 10,499 candidates appeared for the examination and the pass percentage was 93.75 per cent.

The entrance examination was conducted on May 28 in 31 centres for the 3-year and 5-year LLB and LLM course for which 10,499 candidates appeared for the examination and the pass percentage was 93.75 per cent.

As many as 7,944 candidates took the 3-year LLB course, out of whom, 7,556 candidates passed the examination and the pass percentage was 95.12 per cent. Anantapur students Boyapati Suresh Kumar and Bala Venkateshulu bagged the first and second ranks respectively. Suresh scored 109 out of 120 marks while Venkateshulu secured 108 out of 120 marks. Guntur student Thota Chandana also secured 2nd rank by scoring 108 out of 120 marks.

In 5-year LLB course, 2,033 students took the examination and 1,770 students passed the examination and the pass percentage was 87 per cent. Guntur student Sadam Samba Kailash secured first rank by scoring 99 out of 120 marks. The second rank was bagged by Visakhapatnam student Sathya Pragathi by scoring 98 out of 120 marks while Ranga Reddy district student Kosu Reddy got third rank by scoring 96 out of 120 marks.

In PGLCET, 522 students took the examination, out of whom 515 passed and the pass percentage was 98.66 per cent. The first ranks were bagged by Pande from Visakhapatnam by scoring 86 out of 120 marks and Rama Shanthi from Krishna district scoring 86 out of 120 marks. N Gopinath from Hyderabad secured second position.
