​Upparapalle Anantapur: Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha has distributed 600 house pattas to the people of the village here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister promised to build houses for the house patta beneficiaries under the NTR Housing Scheme. Sunitha said that she was overwhelmed at the people naming the colony after her husband Paritala Ravindra and thanked them for their affection.

She said that the people had been fighting for house pattas since five years and at last their dreams have been realised, she added. She advised them against selling their land pattas or the houses to be built for them despite financial problems and asked them to preserve their permanent assets. She promised to supply LPG gas connections to every eligible home.

She later visited the local market yard where preparations are on for distribution of Ramzan festival goodies to Muslim brethren on July 1st. She inspected the quality of commodities being packed for distribution.

She said that 5 kg of wheat, 2 kg of sugar, 1 kg of semya and 100 grams of ghee are all being packed in a festival pack for distribution. It was the Chief Minister's desire to make everyone happy.

She reminded that similar gifts were given for Christmas and Sankranti. The items being gifted to the Muslim community were all worth Rs 400. Rs 35 crore is spent to reach out to 11 lakh families in the State. ZP chairman Chaman accompanied the Minister.
