Bulglar arrested booty recovrered

​Vizianagaram: Police arrested a burgalr, who was involved in burglaries in Vizianagaram and other areas, and recovered gold jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh from his possession on Tuesday. Deputy Superintendent of Police A S Chakravarthy said that Mohmmad Shafi, who hails from West Godavari, entered a house in Vizianagaram recently and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 2 lakh.
Based on a complaint by the house owners, police registered a case and launched a man-hunt for the burglar. On Tuesday, on a tip-off, they nabbed him while trying to sell the stolen jewellery and recovered the booty.
