Addressing various department officials and outsourced employees here on Tuesday, the Collector appreciated the outsourced employees for working day and night enjoying no holidays or leave privileges.

The outsourced employees should be treated as family members along with the regular employees and they should not be allowed to suffer due to delay in salary payments. The departmental officials should ensure that the salary budget related to outsourced employees should be sent well in advance to the government so that the employees need not be waiting indefinitely for their salaries.

Due to the inability of the Samaikya in payment of ESI and EPF of the employees, the onus of penalty payment fell on the Samaikya. This kind of situation should be averted at all cost, he said.
